NOTICE ON THE DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES
The following notice is addressed to those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and do not resell them in the form delivered to them (end users):
Free Return of Used Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obligated to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can return used batteries to a municipal collection point or local retailer. We, as a distributor of batteries, are also obligated to take back used batteries. Our obligation to take back batteries is limited to used batteries of the type we carry or have carried in our range as new batteries. You can therefore return used batteries of the aforementioned type sufficiently stamped to us or deliver them free of charge directly to our store at the following address:

Meaning of Battery Symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury by mass, more than 0.002% cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004% lead by mass, the chemical symbol of the respective pollutant used is shown below the dustbin symbol.
- "Cd" stands for cadmium,
- "Pb" stands for lead, and
- "Hg" stands for mercury.
